          Museum

Film museum - Thousands of interesting and rare cases in the field of imaging is a unique feature of this department and was compiled by present and former faculties and postgraduate students with diligent care.

Roentgen museum  -  Exhibits posters denoting various stages of evolution of radiology and equipments used in olden days is really helpful for students and trainees to go through the history of this specialty.     

 

   Library

        Latest and past editions of various radiology text books as well as relevant text books from other specialties.

Journals – National and international level journals are available.  

      CME conducted during the year  


       Annual Conference of Indian Radiological and Imaging Association was conducted at Calicut on 8th and 9th of April 2006.  The venue for the conference was Kadavu Resort.  Eminent speakers from State and outside the state participated in the conference.

The IRIA conference was inaugurated by Dean NIT and felicitated by Vice Principal, Medical College, Calicut

 

       Achievements  

      PG students in Department of Radiodiagnosis won first and second prizes for paper presentation in Kerala State IRIA Conference.

    PG student in our department had won the first prize in the National Radiology Quiz conducted in IRIA National Conference, Madras on January 2006.  

Alumnus of this department is working in well known Indian and Foreign Institutions and Hospitals (US, UK, Middle East, Singapore, and South Africa etc)
