MRI Scanner
The first MRI scan to be commissioned in the Govt. sector in Kerala was inaugurated in Kozhikode Medical College Hospital by our honourable Health Minister Sreemathy Teacher on February 1^st 2008. A great achievement for Medical College, Kozhikode in its Golden Jubilee year.

GE Signa HDX whole body 1.5 Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging system with brain (high resolution 8 channel), neurovascular, CTL, body, knee, breast and flexible coils. Along with routine imaging studies functional MRI, MR spectroscopy, diffusion tensor imaging contrast enhanced angiography and relaxometry study for epilepsy can be performed.
