Epilepsy clinics (including Pediatric Epilepsy)
Ward
Consultations: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
& Saturday- 1:30 pm onwards

Dystrophy Neuromuscular disorders
- Neuro-oncology
(tumors of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves)
- Neuropathic
pain syndromes
- Neuro-ophthalmology

ICU
Facilities: 4 bedded ICU with ventilator,
pulse oximeter and defibrillators
Investigations
Available:
EEG:
done on all days except Sunday. Both 16 Channel Analog EEG and 21
Channel Digital EEG are available.
NERVE CONDUCTION STUDIES & ELECTROMYOGRAPHY: Computerized
NCS and EMG machine are available in the Department. Facilities are
there for doing Repetitive Nerve Stimulation, F-wave studies, Visual
Evoked Potentials, Somato sensori evoked potential, Blink Reflex and
Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry
PLASMAPHERESIS: Is done on a regular basis at the Department for
diseases like Guillain Barre Syndrome, Myasthenic Crisis and
resistant ADEM
MUSCLE BIOPSY & NERVE BIOPSY: Are done in the Department
itself
BOTULINUM
TOXIN CLINICS:
are conducted at regular intervals, for the benefit of
patients with Blepharospasm, Hemifacial spasm, Writer’s cramp and
Cervical dystonia
