The Nuclear Medicine unit was
started in Calicut Medical college in 1980 with Dr.M.S.Moorthy as
its head under the Department of Radiotherapy.
In 1998 it has started doing Radioimmuno Assay(RIA) and Immuno
Radiometric Assay(IRMA).Enzyme Immuno Assay(EIA) was started in 2000
with the equipment and staff provided by Hospital Development
Society.
