TEACHERS TRAINING AND EVALUATION

 

Medical Education Unit and PTA of Calicut Medical College conducted a 4 day TEACHERS TRAINING AND EVALUATION WORKSHOP FROM NOV-1ST–4TH 2010  at Institute of Management in Government, Kozhikode. The workshop was inaugurated by the Principal Dr.C.Ravindran and Dr.P.V Narayanan Vice Principal presided in the function.          Dr.Asma.A (Coordinator, MEU) welcomed the participants and introduced the need for hands on training and the importance of fine tuning teaching skills among upcoming medical teachers. The workshop primarily focused on middle level faculty in the cadre of Assistant Professors. 25 Doctors participated in the training. An evaluation and feedback was collected from the participants on the final day of the workshop which reiterated the need for ongoing training. It was also proposed to conduct the next session at the earliest possible date.
